PREFACE This book is the same memoir as two others I'd written, Detour: A 40-Year Epilepsy Memoir and Epilepsy Memoir: My 40-Year Detour. I plan on doing yet another version with much new material not covered in epilepsy memoir 1; epilepsy memoir 2; and epilepsy memoir 3. Its title will be The Zen of Epilepsy Living: 52 True Epilepsy Parables of How to Overcome Life's Problems. This is a why this book was written paragraph. When the idea for the book first occurred I thought I'd re-search a bit at the local library and read up on something I'd had for 31 years at the time from their vast selection of books on epilepsy. I couldn't find one volume dedicated to education about the chronic seizure condition. Now it has one book, mine; I hope this revision will help you become more aware of your fellow-person, not just the E people but other people as well, love them for what they are and not who you think they should become, I have worked on a novel that has several of the E people as characters, the plot gleaned from my medical history, problem with alcohol, futile attempts at dating in high school, test drugs I've been on, magnetically activated devices implanted, an unspoken vow of pacifism over violence, and whatever story-line my mind could contrive. It was self-published and is called Death is Not the End-Unholy Resurrections 1. On 10-31-2016 Volume 2: Psychic Gift With a Price: Power of the Icy Flames is launched.
